A Time And Place For Everything

When we observe scenes that bring up nostalgic feelings from long ago memories we analyze their significance to this immediate moment. Usually we feel that bygone eras were a much simpler and more innocent time. Today the speed at which we encounter a vast variety of personal and professional experiences brings us the phenomenal potential for introspection. The challenge we find, the older (and hopefully wiser) we become, is to place this large volume of multi-media input into an orderly, understandable and usable perspective for our heart, mind and soul.
The Peace Arch City is now a quickly growing community with a varied population of ages, ethniticity and affluence. Our older neighborhoods contain a diverse housing blend from fixer upper dwellings to remodeled classics. Vacant farm land tracts are waiting for contemporary housing projects with comparable shopping areas to be developed. Willy grazing in a Blaine front yard symbolizes our past rural sentimentalities within an existing residential background. This image brings up feelings of timelessness and potential coexistence with our past in future planning.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
